In-home nurse in Brooklyn, NY
I began my nursing career as a Licensed Practical Nurse and advanced to become a BSN Registered Nurse, building my foundation at the bedside and earning my growth through experience. Over the years, I’ve worked across acute care, hospice, sub-acute rehabilitation, ventilator units, pediatrics, and private duty settings, caring for medically complex patients in both facility and home environments. My clinical background includes ventilator management, tracheostomies, central and PICC line care, IV infusions, telemetry monitoring, gastrostomy tubes, and post-surgical recovery. I have admitted and managed patients from major hospital systems, including NYU Langone, and I am experienced in coordinating multidisciplinary care plans to ensure safe transitions from hospital to home. I’ve served as a charge nurse in rehabilitation settings and as a case manager and private duty nurse in the community. I understand the operational side of nursing: admissions, discharge planning, documentation, care coordination, and navigating the real-world challenges families face once hospital care ends. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Helene Fuld College of Nursing. I maintain active RN licensure in ten states and am certified in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. I bring clinical precision, calm leadership, and a strong sense of responsibility to every patient and family I serve.
