I have 12 years experience as a family nurse practitioner. (I have been an RN for 15 years total) I have spent 11 years in urgent care, 5 years working with pediatrics. I also have a significant cardiac history(RN & NP). At the urgent care, we commonly treated routine and seasonal Illnesses, but also performed physical exams, travel health consultations, post op visits, suture placement & removal, vaccination and immigration paperwork/exams/workup, drawing labs, CDL physicals, weight and chronic illness management, HRT, STI screening and treatment. One of my side jobs is working for a fertility company, where we go to the patients house and counsel them, prepare injections, and also teach their spouses how to return demo. I am extremely well rounded and adaptable.
